Counting Corpses
Gotta love those Bush-people. Once the body count got too high for comfort, they did the only logical thing; they stopped counting
So, with the death toll of Katrina at 964, our government decides to stop counting. I guess the corpses of more than 1,000 people (some sort of "acceptable" threshhold) is just to much to lay at the feet of our fearless leaders.
I've found the friend I refer to in posts below, evacuated to Baton Rouge after the storm. When the death toll was around 400, she told me, "Shoot, that many people were probably killed by the cops alone."
And how does this jive with the huge numbers of people still missing? How many of these missing people are actually dead? Will we ever know? Just like the ban on journalists photographing bodies (out of "respect" - yeah, just like in Iraq)...this whole thing stinks as bad as the toxic sludge covering New Orleans.
Edited to add: It's no coincidence that FEMA hired Kenyon International to count the bodies. Kenyon, it seems, is a subsidiary of Service Corporation International (SCI), a scandal-ridden Texas-based company operated by a friend of the Bush family. Recently, SCI subsidiaries have been implicated in illegally discarding and desecrating corpses. One of many stories about this can be read here. Another one is here.

Do you ignor the truth and facts this much? Try reading the NY Times for your death count, it'[s not a secret. This is the second time one of your writings has shown you do not subscribe to facts, which makes me wonder why you try to sound like a source of real authority and knowledge.

Regarding so-called "truth" & "facts":
I believe that the mainstream media is nothing but a propaganda machine - and don't necessarily believe anything I read.
I call it healthy skepticism, backed up by much of what I read, see, and basic logic. I trust what a friend in New Orleans saw with their own eyes more than the NY Times. The corruption of SCI is well documented. Even if it weren't true, so what? I don't claim to be an "authority" about anything anywhere on this site. I am, at all times, expressing only my opinion.

I suppose you judge you own opinions from sources you find, where, in other opinion blogs? Great credibly! use you own mind and think a little and try sources that are credible. Who knows, with a little thinking you could even see the err of your ways and become a Republican

What's "credible" is very, very subjective.

Dear anonymous,
Firstly, try and correct your spelling and grammars before you post anything. Its rather distractive to have to read your sentences twice to know what you are talking about.
Next, this is a personal blog where the owner has every right to post her thoughts and opinions on it. If you do not like the stuff that you read here, or if you disagree with her, just don't read. Simple as that. There really is no need to be sacarstic and get all worked up.
Lastly, in my humble opinion, you are pathetic. You don't even dare to reveal your identity when you are arguing with another person. But thats just my opinion, if you don like it, then too bad, just don read.
:)
